Some of these include biological, emotional and social factors. Biological factors can include how much a person wants to pass on their genes and the chance that someone has a genetic disorder such as Down Syndrome.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Emotional reasons for why people want kids can vary from wanting an heir to loneliness. Social reasons for why people want kids could be due to pressure from friends, family or society in general.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It&#8217;s no secret that an increasing number of people are choosing to be childless. But why do they want kids in the first place?&nbsp;There are a number of factors at play, including biological, emotional and social. In this article we&#8217;ll explore these reasons, as well as the benefits and drawbacks associated with each.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The question of why people want kids is one that has been debated for centuries. There are many reasons why someone might want to have children, but the most popular reason as listed by a recent study was &#8220;to replace themselves.&#8221; Parents often feel like they need to have children in order to continue their lineage and leave behind something after they pass away.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I know that there are a lot of people who want to have kids because they think it will make them happy. I used to be one of those people, but then I had my first kid and things changed for me. Now that I have two kids, life is hectic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It&#8217;s hard to get any sleep or enjoy time with friends anymore because the baby never sleeps and needs constant attention from me. Personally speaking, having kids has been a huge mistake for me-it&#8217;s like giving up happiness in order to gain something else you don&#8217;t even want!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>1. Children are a source of unconditional love<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The unconditional love that parents feel for their children is something we cannot get from any other person in our lives. It&#8217;s a deep, abiding feeling and it can be difficult to put into words.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Many people are drawn to parenthood because they want the security of someone who loves them unconditionally or so they have an opportunity to experience this type<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>2. They provide companionship as we age<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>As we get older kids provide a companion and friend. It&#8217;s not just about a parent having someone to take care of them but also spending time with their kids and enjoying all the fun things they do.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It can be difficult losing your independence as we age, so it&#8217;s nice knowing that there is always someone there for us no matter what happens in life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>3. Kids help us stay active and healthy<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Staying active and healthy is important &#8211; and kids are a good way to keep moving. Lots of time kids will benefit from the exercise too, even if it&#8217;s not always fun at first.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Kids can also act as a reminder for parents to stay active and healthy which is why many adults are finding new hobbies that they enjoy or pick up sports again after becoming a parent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Parenting can be hard work but there are other benefits besides just having someone to love you unconditionally when you&#8217;re older. It might take some getting used to &#8211; but in most cases kids provide much more than what you could ever imagine!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>4. They offer an opportunity to teach life lessons, such as responsibility and empathy&nbsp;<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Having kids means teaching life lessons. It means teaching them the importance of being responsible and how to handle hard times. It&#8217;s about showing empathy for others, caring for a living thing that needs you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We all need someone who is willing to be there through thick and thin &#8211; someone who will make us laugh in the hardest moments and forgive our mistakes. And kids are perfect candidates!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>5. It&#8217;s fun to watch them grow up and learn new things every day!&nbsp;<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Kids are fun to watch grow and learn new things. It&#8217;s great to see them grow, mature and learn. They are constantly changing in front of our eyes! And the best thing is that we get to be there for it &#8211; how cool is that?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>6. Having kids is a way for parents to pass on their legacy or values to the next generation<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>For some parents their goal is to pass on their legacy to their children. It&#8217;s the ultimate form of immortality for some.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In a way, parenting is how we get to connect and share our values with another person or generation. For many parents it&#8217;s about passing on their legacy or value system to the next generation &#8211; whether that be through cultural practices, family history, inheritance etcetera.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>7. Kids are a great way to teach responsibility<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Kids are one of the best ways to become a more responsible adult. They teach us not only how to care for someone else but they also force us to face the consequences of our actions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The responsibility that comes with having kids is a great way to learn some life skills &#8211; and it&#8217;s one of the best ways to get more out of parenting as well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>8. They&#8217;re also a good source of unconditional love<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Kid love you unconditionally all the time. They are an amazing source of unconditional love.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>They will never leave you, and they can always make you feel better about yourself &#8211; no matter what else is going on in your life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A parent&#8217;s relationship with a child also has the potential to be one of the most loving relationships they have.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>9. Having kids is an opportunity to create new memories and traditions with your family<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Memories and traditions are an important part of any family!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>While it can be difficult to think about the future and all of the implications that having kids will have on your life, there are also many good reasons why people want kids. If you&#8217;re one who has been thinking about whether or not they should start a family but cannot decide if it&#8217;s for them, this list may help you make the right choice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>10. It&#8217;s fun to watch them grow up and learn about the world around them<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>There are many milestones that children go through and it can be so rewarding to watch them grow up.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As they grow from a toddler to an adult they will grow and learn so much. They&#8217;ll find out about the world around them and see new things that can be a little scary but also really fun!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It&#8217;s interesting to watch how kids react to different situations and it&#8217;s amazing when they learn something new. It may seem like they are just repeating what you say, but in reality children are absorbing everything!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>11. You can&#8217;t really understand what it means to be human without having children of your own<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Having kids is a key part of the human experience. You just can&#8217;t fully understand what it means to be human without having children of your own.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Children are an integral part of the human experience, so much so that they help us learn how to better understand who we are as people themselves and why society needs them in order for humans to evolve throughout history from generation after generation until now<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Kids are amazing because they teach adults about things around them which make life more exciting but also at times difficult when dealing with their curiosity on subjects such as death or sexuality, etc. It&#8217;s interesting seeing how kids react differently depending on the situation and learning new things &#8211; whether<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Why do people NOT want kids?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ol><li>Kids are a lot of work<\/li><li>They&#8217;re expensive<\/li><li>You have to give up your life for them<\/li><li>They can&#8217;t do anything for themselves<\/li><li>There&#8217;s no guarantee they&#8217;ll be successful in life<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>We all want to be happy, but we often don&#8217;t know what it is that will make us content. When people find themselves in a situation where they are being asked for advice on whether or not the other person should have kids, there are many things to consider before giving an answer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But one of the most important questions might just be &#8220;Do you want children?&#8221; If parents can think about and understand their own motivations behind having children then they&#8217;ll be able to better advise friends who come asking them if they should have kids too.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The answer to this question may be different for each parent. Some parents want kids because they&#8217;ve always wanted them, some because it&#8217;s the next stage of life and there are so many reasons why people want children!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Whether you&#8217;re a first time mom or have had several sets of twins already &#8211; we hope these tips help us get closer to understanding what drives your longing for parenthood.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As we\u2019ve seen, there are many reasons why people want kids.
